The beauty of the raw imperfect material is the core feature in every piece of furniture made by KODA. Our furniture celebrates the natural imperfections and draws out the details created by nature. To highlight this we occasionally use pewter as an inlay to fill the void. Our pewter furniture offers a unique aesthetic that will complement any home décor.

Pewter is a soft white metal with a silver like appearance and has a relatively low melting point. Once molten we carefully cast the lead free pewter into the chosen imperfection. Once the pewter has returned to a solid state it is meticulously polished to a smooth even finish resulting in a stunning unique feature.

Our bespoke furniture is protected and preserved with several coats of a natural hard wax oil sealant. This process brings out and accentuates the beauty of the grain patterns and other naturally occurring characteristics that are particularly noticeable in our timbers. Every piece of furniture is handmade to order in our studio and is fully customisable to meet each individuals requirements. This is a philosophy that continues to influence KODA, as we believe in offering full design freedom.
